Technical fixes for how Ajman sites are built

Which website problems can a technical SEO consultant fix in Ajman?

A technical SEO consultant finds and prioritizes the site-level problems that stop pages from being crawled, indexed or loaded quickly. For Ajman businesses that often means online stores reusing marketplace product copy, furniture and fashion catalogs slowed by heavy photos, domain moves after a change of trade name, and business setup sites bloated with near-identical pages. I audit remotely and verify fixes with your developer.

Last reviewed by Vikas Saroj

Many Ajman websites belong to small brands, traders and service firms that built them quickly on a hosted store platform or a theme, then kept adding products, photos and pages. The technical problems that follow are fairly predictable: duplicate product text, slow image-heavy pages, broken history after a rebrand, and large numbers of thin pages that dilute the rest of the site.

My role, delivered remotely, is to crawl and inspect the whole site, describe every problem in plain language, order the fixes by likely gain against developer time, and then confirm the changes once your developer or store admin has made them. You stay in control of the site; I make sure the work is aimed at what matters.

What I Do

Technical SEO for Ajman stores and service sites

The audit covers the whole site, but the recommendations focus on the problems that most often hold back the kinds of sites Ajman businesses run.

Duplicate Content Review

I find product and category text that also appears on marketplaces, supplier sites or elsewhere on your own store, and set out which pages need original copy first.

Image Performance Audit

I check image sizes, formats, lazy loading and dimensions on catalog and product pages, then list changes that make mobile pages load faster without hurting photo quality.

Domain Move Planning

When a trade name or domain changes, I build the redirect map, check the new site before launch and plan the steps in Search Console and on your business listings.

Thin Page Cleanup

For sites with large sets of similar pages, I decide which to merge, improve, keep out of the index or remove, so search engines spend their time on pages that deserve it.

Crawl and Index Check

I review robots rules, sitemaps, canonical tags, status codes and the index coverage reports, to confirm that the pages you want found can be crawled and the rest are handled properly.

Structured Data Review

I check product, organization and local business markup for errors and missing fields, and recommend only the markup types your pages genuinely support, so rich results reflect what a visitor actually finds.

Online stores that reuse marketplace product copy

Ajman is home to many small brands that sell on regional marketplaces as well as through their own online store. To save time, they often paste the same product title and description into every channel, or copy the text the supplier provided. The result is a store whose product pages say exactly what many other pages already say, often on sites that search engines trust more.

A canonical tag cannot fix this, because you do not control the marketplace pages. When the same text exists in several places, search engines choose one version to show, and it is rarely the small brand's own site. The practical fixes are:

  • Prioritizing the products that matter most for revenue or margin, and writing original descriptions for those first
  • Adding details only you can provide: sizing advice, materials, care instructions, real photos and answers to customer questions
  • Keeping marketplace listings shorter, so your own site holds the fullest version
  • Making sure category pages have a short, original introduction rather than only a product grid

I also check the duplication inside your own store: products reachable through several category paths, filter combinations creating new URLs, and variants each living on separate pages. Those are fixed with canonicals, parameter handling and consistent internal links. My ecommerce SEO page covers store structure in more depth.

Photo-heavy catalogs for furniture, fashion and home goods

Furniture showrooms, fashion labels and home goods sellers in Ajman rightly rely on photos to sell. Their sites often carry large galleries for every product, with images uploaded straight from a camera or a photographer's files. On a phone over a mobile connection, those pages can take a long time to show anything useful, and the layout jumps around as images load.

The audit looks at each catalog and product template separately and checks:

  • File size and format: whether images are compressed and served in modern formats where the platform supports them.
  • Responsive sizes: whether a phone receives a smaller image than a desktop screen, rather than the full original.
  • Lazy loading: whether images below the first screen wait until needed, while the main product image loads immediately.
  • Dimensions: whether width and height are declared, so the page does not shift as photos arrive.
  • Alt text and file names: whether images describe the product clearly for accessibility and image search.

On hosted store platforms, some of this is handled automatically and some depends on the theme and apps installed. I separate what your platform already does from what your theme or uploads are undoing, so your developer knows exactly where to work. The Core Web Vitals consulting page explains how page speed is measured.

A new trade name or domain after a license change

Ajman companies change names more often than people expect. A business may move from a free zone license to a mainland one, take on a new shareholder, merge trading names or rebrand for expansion into other emirates. The website domain often changes too, and that is where search visibility built over years can disappear if the move is handled carelessly. Which licensing steps a change requires is a question for your setup advisor; my concern is the website.

A careful domain move follows a sequence:

  1. Inventory: list every URL on the old site that receives traffic or links, using a crawl, Search Console and analytics.
  2. Redirect map: match each old URL to its closest new equivalent, page by page, rather than sending everything to the homepage.
  3. Pre-launch check: review the new site on staging for blocked crawling, missing pages and broken internal links.
  4. Launch: apply permanent redirects, submit the new sitemap and file the domain change in Search Console where that option applies.
  5. Listings and links: update your Business Profile, social profiles, directory entries and any supplier or client sites that link to you.
  6. Monitoring: watch crawl errors, index coverage and traffic for the following weeks and fix gaps quickly.

Keeping the old domain registered and redirecting for the long term matters as much as the launch day. My SEO migration consulting page covers larger replatforming projects.

Business setup sites with sprawling, near-identical pages

Ajman's free zones and lower-cost licensing have created a crowded market of business setup consultants and service agents, many competing online for the same searches about licenses, visas and company formation. A common approach is to publish a page for every free zone, activity, nationality and visa type, often generated from one template with only a few words changed.

Search engines tend to treat large sets of near-identical pages as low value. The result can be that few of them rank, crawling slows down, and the genuinely useful pages are buried among the rest. In the audit, I group these pages and assess each group:

  • Keep and improve: pages with real demand and something specific to say, such as documents required or process steps for a particular license type.
  • Merge: pages that differ only by a word or two, combined into one stronger page with redirects from the others.
  • Keep out of the index: pages useful to visitors but not worth ranking, such as narrow filter combinations.
  • Remove: pages with no traffic, no links and no purpose, returned as gone or redirected.

I also check that fees, rules and processes described on the site are dated and reviewed, since outdated details can mislead customers. Your own setup experts confirm the facts; I make sure the site structure supports them. The programmatic SEO page explains how template-based pages can be done well.

Search Console access, staging checks and remote handover

The engagement runs remotely from start to finish. I ask for read access to Search Console and analytics, and where possible a staging copy of the site, so I can test changes before they go live. If your store runs on a hosted platform, a staff account with limited permissions is usually enough.

Findings arrive as a prioritized list rather than a long export from a crawler. Each item states the problem, the affected template or pages, why it matters, how to fix it and how we will confirm it is fixed. Your developer, agency or store admin makes the changes, and I recrawl after each release to confirm them. I do not promise rankings; I do confirm that what was agreed has been implemented correctly and track how crawling, indexing and speed change afterwards.

Sessions take place over video, and the written material is in English. Arabic pages, where you have them, are reviewed for technical setup, while their wording is checked by Arabic speakers on your side. FAQ

Questions About Technical SEO Consultant Ajman

It can be. When the same text appears on a marketplace and on your store, search engines usually show one version, and it is often the marketplace. Write original descriptions first for your most important products, add details only you can provide, and keep marketplace copy shorter so your own site holds the fullest version.

Start by compressing images and serving them in modern formats, making sure phones receive smaller versions, lazy loading images below the first screen and declaring image dimensions so layouts do not jump. On hosted platforms, check whether your theme or apps are undoing what the platform already optimizes. I audit each template and list the exact changes.

Plan the move before launch. List every valuable old URL, redirect each one to its closest new page, test the new site on staging, file the domain change in Search Console where that option applies, and update your business listings. Keep the old domain redirecting long term and monitor errors closely afterwards.

Probably not all of them. Pages that answer specific questions with real detail are worth keeping and improving. Pages that differ only by a word or two are better merged, and pages with no traffic or purpose can go. I group the pages, assess each group and recommend what to keep, merge, exclude or remove.
