I advise companies in Portugal remotely, mainly international groups running nearshore service and technology centers there, tourism and hospitality operators managing several properties, and Portuguese exporters selling into wider European markets. The common thread is a business that has added entities, sites or customers faster than its systems, and now needs one dependable view of operations, billing and finance.
My work covers process analysis, requirement writing, independent ERP comparison, implementation oversight and later improvement, and I also handle SEO, AI search and paid acquisition measured through CRM. Portuguese-language documents, statutory invoice layouts and training for local staff are produced by your Portuguese-speaking team or a local partner, with those tasks scheduled in the plan.
Portugal generally requires invoices to be issued from invoicing software certified by the tax authority. Before selecting any platform, confirm with the vendor and your accountant whether the exact product, edition and setup you plan to use qualifies.
Portuguese rules include a Portuguese version of the SAF-T file used in tax reporting and a unique code on invoices and other documents, known as ATCUD, alongside a QR code. These shape how document series and numbering are configured.
International groups run shared service, IT and customer operations centers in Portugal. Their ERP needs center on intercompany recharges, cost allocation, time capture and alignment with group reporting rather than local trading alone.
Hotels, resorts and tourism operators face seasonal staffing, multi-property purchasing and data passing from property and point-of-sale systems into finance. Requirements should reflect peak-season volumes, not a quiet month.

I do not certify software and I never present a platform as compliant on my own word. Portuguese invoicing generally has to come from software certified by the tax authority, so I make that a pass-or-fail selection criterion and ask the vendor or partner to confirm the status of the specific product and edition, with your accountant reviewing the answer.
Yes. I map how the center's work is recorded and recharged: time capture, cost pools, intercompany invoicing and allocation to group entities. I then check that the ERP or the group's existing system handles Portuguese documents and reporting for the local entity while still feeding the group's chart of accounts.
My consulting is delivered in English, which is usually the working language in the international centers and exporting firms that contact me. Anything that must appear or be taught in Portuguese, from invoice wording to user sessions, is prepared by Portuguese speakers on your staff or by a local firm, and I make it part of testing.
Portuguese mornings fall in the Indian afternoon and early evening, so I schedule live workshops, reviews and steering calls in your morning. The rest of my time goes into analysis, documentation and test preparation, which your team can review asynchronously through a shared decision log.
