What can Zoho Analytics do for a French company's reporting?
For a French company, Zoho Analytics can join the accounting data your expert-comptable already structures, such as the entries export known as the FEC, with CRM, project, e-commerce and marketplace data in one management view. A Zoho Analytics consultant defines the indicators, maps the chart of accounts to management categories, builds subsidiary and group views and sets access rules. I deliver this remotely and independently.

French accounts follow the plan comptable général, and every company can produce the FEC, the standardized export of all accounting entries. That gives French management reporting an unusual advantage: a complete, structured ledger file exists, whatever accounting software the expert-comptable uses.
I use that file, or a direct connection where one exists, as the financial backbone in Zoho Analytics, and join it with CRM pipeline, projects, e-commerce sales and marketplace data. Definitions are written down first, so the tableau de bord the CEO reads ties back to the accounts.
Sessions are remote and the engagement runs in English. French dashboard labels and comments are chosen by native speakers on your side. I am not tied to Zoho commercially, so another BI tool remains an option if it fits better.
French reporting projects can lean on a structured ledger. These services build the rest around it.
A repeatable import of the entries export from your accounting system or expert-comptable into Zoho Analytics, with journal and account mapping, so the ledger becomes a reportable table rather than a file kept for audits.
A mapping from the plan comptable général to management categories, such as gross margin, external charges and personnel cost, agreed with your accountant so dashboard totals match the accounts.
Zoho CRM or another CRM, Zoho Projects and invoicing data joined through shared customer and project keys, so pipeline, delivery and billing appear in one view.
Webshop and marketplace orders, returns and fees brought in through connectors or files, so net margin per channel is visible instead of headline sales alone.
Stand-alone and combined views for a French holding, its subsidiaries and foreign affiliates, with intercompany flows flagged and currency conversion rules stated on each dashboard.
Row-level rules by region, entity or role, export limits and retention choices agreed with your data protection contact, and documented in the GDPR record of processing.

The FEC lists every accounting entry with its journal, account number, date, document reference and amount. It exists for tax audits, but it is also a clean, standardized source for management reporting, whichever accounting package produced it. Combined with the account numbering of the plan comptable général, it lets Zoho Analytics rebuild revenue, purchases, external charges and personnel cost without rekeying.
Design points I agree with your expert-comptable:
Where Zoho Books holds the ledger, its built-in connector replaces the file import, while the mapping work stays the same. The accounting setup itself is covered on my Zoho Books France page.
French companies seldom run on one system. A landscape might combine an accounting package such as Sage or Cegid, a CRM, a project or ticketing tool, a webshop and sales on marketplaces, with budgets in spreadsheets. Beyond its built-in links to Zoho apps, Zoho Analytics can pull from many outside services and accepts database connections and file uploads. Confirm with Zoho that a connector exists for each of your systems and your plan before designing around it.
For each source I document:
Marketplace data deserves its own model. Orders, returns, commissions and advertising fees arrive separately, and only together do they show channel margin. I build that view so decisions about which channel to push rest on net figures. Where the CRM is Zoho, my Zoho CRM France page covers how the pipeline is structured upstream.
French groups often combine a holding company, operating subsidiaries and sometimes foreign affiliates. Each entity keeps its own ledger and, in Zoho Books, its own organization. Management wants entity views, combined totals and the ability to see intercompany flows separately.
The model includes:
This produces management consolidation. Statutory consolidated accounts, where required, are prepared by the expert-comptable or the auditors using their own software, and every combined dashboard carries a note saying so. Holding structures also tend to recharge services between entities; those recharges are tagged so that entity margins can be read with and without them. The design of several companies on one platform is discussed under ERP for multi-company, and currency issues under ERP for multi-currency.
Dashboards concentrate data. Sales figures by representative, project margins by consultant and personnel cost by team can all appear in Zoho Analytics, and each raises an access question. GDPR requires personal data to be processed for defined purposes with appropriate access, and reports that evaluate individual employees may also be a subject for the CSE.
What I configure:
On hosting, Zoho offers a European region, but an organization's region is decided when it is opened, so I check where your Zoho Analytics account actually sits, especially if a parent company created it. Your data protection contact reviews Zoho's processing terms and sub-processor list. Each connector copies data into Zoho Analytics, so it also belongs in your record of processing. The platform-wide view of hosting is on my Zoho consultant France page.
A dashboard reflects the quality of what feeds it. If invoices are coded to the wrong accounts, if each sales team interprets CRM stages its own way, or if marketplace fees are booked in one lump at month end, Zoho Analytics will display the confusion faithfully. The fix is process and data work upstream, the territory of business process consulting and, where the ERP itself is the cause, an ERP health check.
I also point French companies elsewhere when:
For the product itself, see Zoho Analytics. Dashboards as a business problem are covered under ERP for management dashboards, and wider system decisions through ERP consulting in France and the French market page.
Tell me about your business and current systems. I’ll suggest the most sensible first step.

Yes, as a file import. The FEC is a structured text file of all entries, so it can be loaded on a schedule, mapped to management categories and reconciled to the accounts. I agree the export routine with your expert-comptable and document the account mapping so it survives staff changes.
Check with Zoho for your exact product and plan; I would not assume a direct connector. Where none exists, routes include a database connection, a scheduled export or the FEC. I choose the route with your finance team and IT, and add a control total so every load is verified.
Yes. Each entity carries an identifier, intercompany flows are flagged, and dashboards can filter one company or combine several. These are management views; statutory consolidation remains with your accountant or auditors, and I label combined dashboards so nobody confuses the two.
Zoho offers a European hosting region, attached to the organization at creation. Before any data is loaded I check which region yours uses, and your data protection contact reviews Zoho's processing terms and sub-processors. Access rules and export limits are then configured in line with your GDPR records.
Every business is different. Share where you are today and what you want to fix, and I’ll tell you honestly whether and how I can help.
